“Sensory Garden” explores an area on the campus of the University of Cincinnati  in which students can go to relax or socialize in order to take a break from the stresses of being a student. Our 4-person design group integrated different sensory elements such as enclosure, suspension, and illumination that are demonstrated to appeal to both neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals. Additionally, an emphasis on the healing properties of nature add uniqueness to the site in comparison to other on campus buildings.
